The leadership of UCF has a burden to minister to the youth of the church and those who visit. They see the youth of today as the ones who in a very short time will be vital in furthering the Kingdom of God on earth. The prayer and goal of the leadership is to help each youth recognize his calling in Christ and go forward in God’s plan for his life.

Youth ministry at UCF is divided into two age groups: 5th through 8th grades and 9th through 12th grades.

Meetings are usually weekly and are held at the church or other designated places. At the meetings an atmosphere is provided in which the youth can grow in their faith and be encouraged to “be in the world, but not of the world”. The youth are taught to enter into the worship of God in music and are fed with the Word of God. Recreational activities help the youth bond, develop relationships and just have fun.

Throughout the year many different extra activities are planned such as overnighters at sister churches, youth camps, trips to conventions and other purely recreational activities. Fundraisers are held to help defray the costs of these activities.
